Visual Focus is now your local Reseller for Blackmagic Design professional video equipment.

Blackmagic Design (BMD) is an Australian digital cinema company and manufacturer based in Port Melbourne, Victoria.  BMD design and manufacture broadcast and cinema hardware, most notably URSA and Pocket Cinema digital film cameras.   The URSA is one of the few cameras to be approved for use on Netflix productions.  BMD also develops video editing software, such as DaVinci Resolve, an industry standard for colour grading and NLE.   Recently they introduced a range of streaming video mixers including the ATEM Mini Pro.

Blackmagic Design film production equipment has been used in 20 of the 30 highest-grossing movies of all time.  BMD software and hardware has also been used on Academy Award-winning films and Best Picture films such as Green Book and Moonlight.  Additionally, their Davinci software has been used on popular television shows such as the Emmy Award-winning Game of Thrones and Modern Family.
