The Plate Restaurant
The Plate Restaurant, Bone Idol Brewery, The Shed Coffee drive-through and The Paddock Butchery together form Toowoomba’s newest foodie hotspot. Located at the old Delacy’s Hotel, extensive renovations have been done to the entire building. Visual Focus was brought on board early in the design process to consult on audio for background music, speech and TVs in select areas for use during functions.
Over 40 speakers where installed throughout the building to precisely cover every area with rich full sound, and to eliminate the common problem of some seats being too loud, while others are in virtual silence. 4 subwoofers were also installed in hidden locations to evenly spread some extra lowend, giving it a much more premium audio experience.
It was important for the client that the AV system be as discreet as possible, so in-ceiling speakers from Electrovoice and Comunity were selected and disassembled then painted in the same colours as the ceiling.
The Private Dining Room
With this project, we aimed to create a space that seamlessly blends functionality with style. We knew that in today’s fast-paced business world, companies need a private space where they can host meetings, presentations, and other important events in a comfortable and productive setting.
The focal point of the private dining room is the impressive 75-inch TV, which provides a crystal-clear image and ensures that everyone in the room can see your presentation or video call with ease. To complement this feature, we also installed a BenQ instashare wireless presentation system, making it incredibly easy to connect your device and share your screen with others in the room. This system eliminates the need for messy cables and cords, creating a sleek and tidy workspace.
In addition, we also installed Bowers and Wilkins speakers in the private dining room to provide high-quality sound for all your audio needs. These speakers are specifically designed to deliver crisp and clear sound, ensuring that your message is heard loud and clear.
