The Sennheiser ME 4-N is a miniature cardioid electret condenser microphone designed for use with wireless bodypack transmitters. It features a sensitivity and frequency response optimized for vocal and speech applications, and a cardioid polar pattern which helps to reduce ambient noise and feedback. The ME 4-N has a frequency response range of 50 Hz to 18 kHz, and a maximum sound pressure level of 120 dB. It comes with a clip for attaching to clothing or other surfaces, and a windscreen to reduce wind and breath noise. The ME 4-N is commonly used for public speaking, broadcasting, and theatrical performances.
