Introducing the All-New Allen & Heath Qu Series

Allen & Heath have just unveiled six next-generation Qu mixers—redefining digital mixing with cutting-edge 96kHz FPGA processing, DEEP Processing compatibility, optional Dante connectivity, and a host of workflow and hardware upgrades.

Smarter, Faster, More Powerful

Senior Product Manager Keith Johnson explains:
“We’ve rethought every aspect of the mixer—from the powerful XCVI core to the I/O, screen, and faders. The user interface has been completely redesigned while preserving the simplicity and intuitive workflow that Qu users know and love.”

What’s New in the Qu Series?

  • 96kHz FPGA engine with DEEP Processing capabilities

  • 38 Inputs (32 mono/linkable + 3 stereo)

  • 12 Mixes + 4 Matrixes + 6 FX engines

  • SLink port for integration with the Everything I/O ecosystem

  • 32×32 USB-C interface for multitrack recording and DAW use

  • SD Card and USB-A support for simple stereo and multitrack capture

Flexible Formats for Any Application

The new Qu series includes three frame sizes—each available with or without built-in Dante:

Dante-enabled models feature a 16×16 interface operating at 48/96kHz, perfect for AV installs and live setups.

Designed for Modern Mixing

Built on the iconic “walk up and mix” philosophy, the new Qu mixers now offer:

  • 4 custom fader layers

  • More assignable SoftKeys

  • Flexible routing or classic 1:1 patching

  • Enhanced touchscreen and quick-access controls

  • Visual feedback on every channel with displays and chromatic meters

Hardware That Sounds as Good as It Looks

From upgraded mic preamps to high-performance 96kHz converters, the new Qu ensures pristine sound throughout. The refreshed layout blends familiar Qu design with a sleeker, more modern edge.

Coming Soon: DEEP Processing Add-Ons

With the upcoming V1.1 firmware, users can access premium add-ons from the flagship dLive series—like renowned compressor and preamp emulations. Also included: powerful setup tools like Feedback Assistant and Gain Assistant from the CQ range.

Nic Beretta, Director of Product, adds:
“Whether you’re mixing a live band, recording in the studio, or managing broadcast or AV setups, the new Qu gives you pro-grade performance in a flexible, user-friendly package. And yes—Dante is finally here!”
