Visual Focus aims to be respected as a leader in current and emerging audio-visual technology delivering quality customer services from concept to completion. 

Visual Focus is an audio-visual integration specialist with expertise in the system design, selection of high quality equipment, installation and programming of control systems.

Established in 2002, Visual Focus prides itself on staying at the forefront of technology delivering custom built solutions for commercial business, educational facilities and residences in regional Southern Queensland particularly the Darling Downs, Lockyer Valley, Maranoa, the Granite Belt and South Burnett areas.

Accreditation and Training

Visual Focus designers and technicians are highly trained in the latest audio-visual equipment, techniques and standards.

Our team takes pride in keeping up to date with the latest technology.   Our team attends annual training with industry Associations such as AVIXA (Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association) and CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association).  They also attend regular manufacturer training and updates held by Epson, Crestron, Amber Technology, Kramer and more.

Our Managing Director, Ralph Atkinson has over 25 years experience working as a television director, editor and cameraman, an audio engineer and technician for live theatre and has designed and operated the gamut of audio-visual systems.  Ralph was Head of Audio at the largest regional performing arts venue in Australia, the Empire Theatre in Toowoomba for 12 years and toured across Australia, in New Zealand and Asia with various contemporary musicians and artists.   He is a certified THX professional and holds memberships with CEDIA and Infocomm International.  (THX and the THX logo are trademarks of THX Ltd., registered in the U.S. and other countries)
