What a night for a great cause! We were proud to supply the full AV and staging solution for the Toowoomba Grammar School TGX Launch, their transformative bespoke educational program. Our mission was to transform their traditional dining room into a sophisticated and inspiring setting, fit for an evening dedicated to the school’s philanthropic efforts.
This event represented a unique opportunity to demonstrate how a familiar, multi-purpose space could be transformed into a highly functional environment. With a focus on creating an elegant atmosphere conducive to presentations and meaningful engagement, Visual Focus was tasked with designing and implementing an AV setup that was both technically robust and aesthetically pleasing.
A Seamless Transformation with Tailored AV Solutions
The primary challenge involved changing the dining room’s existing layout to host a professional event while ensuring clear sightlines, audio, and impactful visuals for all attendees. To achieve this seamless transformation, Visual Focus deployed a strategic array of equipment and expertise:
- Dual 120″ Fast Fold Screens with Epson High Lumen Projectors, ensuring bright, crisp presentations and video content were visible from every angle.
- For clear and intelligible speech, we provided Shure ULXD Kits and managed all audio signals through an Allen & Heath SQ5 digital mixing console, guaranteeing flawless sound delivery for speakers and announcements.
- Our team installed a sophisticated lighting design using ETC , Event Lighting and Tourpro lighting fixtures, alongside an Antari Hazer, all placed on Box Truss to create depth and warmth.
