AVPro Edge AC-EX40-444-KIT 40M 18Gbps HDBaseT Extender Kit
The AVPro Edge AC-EX40-444-KIT Ultra Slim 4K 4:4:4 HDMI 2.0 over HDBaseT Extender Kit supports 4K60 4:4:4, HDR, and 18Gb/s over a single Cat (6a recommended) UTP/STP cable. Leveraging Invisible Compression Technology (ICT), this extender ensures a nearly lossless transmission of high-bandwidth 4K HDR signals, maintaining Deep Colour and HDR Metadata integrity and avoiding artifacts such as banding.
Equipped with a built-in scaling circuit in the transmitter, the AVPro Edge AC-EX40-444-KIT can scale 4K (and HDR) content to 1080p. This feature is particularly useful in scenarios where there is a 4K distribution, but some displays are older and support only 1080p. The extender facilitates scaling at specific points without the need for additional equipment, making it a seamless solution for projects requiring an 18G matrix, such as the AC-MX1616-AUHD. This eliminates the necessity for additional components, streamlining the system and making it an excellent choice for extension projects.
