When Watco Rail needed a training room designed, installed, and commissioned within a week, they called us. They needed a reliable AV setup that could handle day-to-day business without any hassle.

The Brief – Clear Vision, Sharp Sound

The goal was straightforward: Design and Install a system that would make every training session, meeting, and presentation impactful. That means having a setup that worked as hard as their team does while being easy enough for anyone to use with their existing tech.

Vision – High Clarity, Bright Picture

We mounted a Grandview 120″ Fixed Frame Projector Screen paired with an Epson EB-L690SE Short Throw Laser Projector, creating a image that is sharp, bright, and free of shadows. The HDMI signal is converted to HDBaseT by Kramer converters to extend the HDMI signal to the projector.

Audio – Even Coverage

For audio that carries, we installed 6x JBL SLP14T Loudspeakers, powered by a Crown XLS1002 Amplifier. This setup allows for consistent, clear sound across the entire room – no dead spots, no straining to hear. 

Rack Mounted – Room For Expansion

The Kramer HDBaseT Transmitter and Thor powerboard were neatly secured in a Racktech 6RU Hinged Wall Mount Rack. Keeping everything out of the way, protected, and looking professional. This rack has been sized with future upgrade to video conferencing in mind, with room to expand with a DSP, Wireless Lapel microphones and HDMI capture cards.

The Result – Training That Hits the Mark

With installation and commissioning complete, Watco Rail now has a top-tier training facility. Presentations are easily viewed, every word is heard clearly, and the whole system is built for easy, reliable use day in, day out use.
